External coaching

that effective change happens one person at a time and that
individual success enables team and organizational success.
Through SSP’s
coaching I learned that I rank very high on the analytical scale
and I have a strong desire to "get things right". When I ask
questions, the combination of these two traits can come across
as critical or negative. With coaching I’ve learned that I will
have more success when I moderate the manner in which I ask
questions, for example, disclosing why I need the information.
I’ve learned to avoid certain words or phrases. If I suspect
that my message may not have come across as intended I’ve
learned to circle back and close the loop. This has helped me
be more effective in leading my people.
