Ruth Kurtz

Ruth is gifted in quickly developing strong relationships in the midst of difficult large scale downsizing programs.

Working on large scale closings and reductions in force, as well as smaller group outplacement projects, Ruth is well know for quickly working to understand client needs and developing solutions that meet those needs. For example, for one client, her relationships were so strong that she was asked to serve as interim HR Director during an extended closing period following the resignation of the incumbent.

Her corporate experience includes 18 years managing the HR function for a major Chicago area private services company. Her background includes staffing, employee counseling, program management, training, and benefits.

Her work at SSP also includes providing individual consulting with managers, professionals, and administrative employees. She works extensively around the United States on downsizings and closings, including in Missouri, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Maryland, and Iowa, just to mention a few.

Ruth holds a BA from DePaul University.
