Mose Kincaid
Mose’s unique life experiences provide him with a unique perspective and set of skills to support individuals during difficult transition.
Providing career management services since 1992, Mose has helped manage some of the most complex and difficult facility closings in the Midwest, including Spiegel’s flagship closing impacting 2,100 employees, and Sara Lee’s New Hampton facility closing with 650 employees. These high profile closings, like many he has worked on, involved union representation, long term closure periods, and active local government participation.
With a JD from the University of Mississippi Law School, and a BA from Jackson State, Mose began his career with Continental Bank working on corporate and high net worth client issues nationwide.
He also has over 25 years of volunteer activities with the American Red Cross and Salvation Army. He is an active volunteer in a wide variety of programs designed to serve the indigent, aged and homeless. This broad experience was well utilized in two facility closings in the inner city of Chicago impacting over 700 largely minority workers in very difficult economic conditions.
An expert on working with Rapid Response Teams, Private Industry Councils, Labor-Management Committees, and JTPA/EDWAA/WARN issues, Mose is an unsurpassed resource on large downsizing/closings in the Midwest. His relationships with local government officials has proven very helpful in facilitating smooth and well balanced outcomes on closings and downsizings. |
