John Russert

John provides SSP clients with multiple levels of service.  As Manager for our Deerfield office, he insures the highest quality of support for those individuals enrolled in transition programs. 

During the past 10 years, John has managed various aspects of transition services with client companies and their employees.  He has consulted with management teams in their planning for restructuring events resulting from changing business strategies, mergers, acquisitions and business relocation.  Likewise, he has served as an executive coach to individuals seeking career direction and transition skills that have led to new employment opportunities. 

John offers a significant understanding of the employment process and a successful career path to those individuals seeking a reemployment career options.  He provides individuals advice on strategy and direction in moving through the maize of job leads and interviewing to job offers based on his extensive industry experience with officer-level, managerial, professional and college recruiting and sourcing of candidates. 

In each level of prior business responsibilities, he has also focused on the well being of the individual.  He has held senior management and Human Resources positions in the food ingredient, financial services and retail industries.  Significant to each of those company environments, he provided advice and coaching to organizations and employees experiencing change in their culture and business strategies. 

John received his business degree from St. Norbert College and completed a six-year military commitment in Europe and the United States.  He is active in professional and community organizations.
