Bob Lilien

Bob Lilien, Senior Professional in Human Resources as certified by the Society of Human Resource Management, offers over thirty years of experience in human resources management and outplacement consulting.

Bob provides a great depth of experience to Scherer Schneider Paulick’s Project team in the areas of leading workshops, conducting individual counseling and supporting plant and facility downsizing activities for clients.

He has ten years of plant level human resources management experience, over twenty years of corporate human resources management experience, plus extensive experience in employee relations, labor relations and collective bargaining.

Specific experiences include managing the closing of four manufacturing plants in accordance with corporate policy and the WARN ACT, serving as chief spokesperson for numerous contract negotiations, participating on due diligence teams evaluating companies/facilities that were candidates for mergers/acquisitions, and facilitating the development of team based work systems at selected union and non-union manufacturing plants.

Bob has a BA from Valparaiso University and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago. He also has specific training in Quality Improvement Process Management (Philip Crosby Associates, Inc.), Targeted Selection (Development Dimensions, Inc.) and Playing to Win (Pecos River Learning Center).
