Scherer
Schneider Paulick was awarded the “Firm of the Year” Award
and Jay Scherer was awarded the “Partner of the Year’’ Award
by OI Partners for 2003.
OI Partners is the world’s largest career consulting
partnership, with over 200 locations in 23 countries,
including over 75 locations in the United States. SSP was
awarded the “Firm of the Year” for the second consecutive
year. In 2002, Paul Schneider was awarded the “Partner of

SSP hosted a
book signing event on “Leading at the Edge” on October 8,
2003.
The book signing reception was held at
the Hotel Sofitel in Rosemont, featuring co-author Catherine
McCarthy and her book, “Leading at the Edge”. Ernest
Shackleton boarded the Endurance with his team of
seamen and scientists, intent upon crossing the unexplored
Antarctic continent. What happened in the two years between
their departure and their final, improbable rescue has
rarely been matched in the annals of survival. But through
each phase and each day of this harrowing expedition, he led
his crew with unsurpassed vigor, creativity and insight.
It’s a leadership story that resonates in the world of
business today, where cutthroat competition, rapid change
and constant demands for innovation have forced even
prosperous companies to the edge of survival. We had over
100 attendees, each received a complimentary book.
